Ultrasound for Surgeons

EAES “Ultrasound for Surgeons” Team:

"Portability and the recent technological advances have convinced more and more surgeons that ultrasound represents the third eye, the sixth finger of the hand, a path to rapid diagnosis, a means of monitoring the patient safety during various surgical procedures.

Our concept of initiating the surgeons in ultrasound is based on direct and assisted practice, using modern equipment, adapted to each request. Since June 2017 trainees from 50 countries have been enrolled in our workshops. So, let’s continue!"

About

Messages to Surgeons

Yoav Mintz - Chairman of the Technology Committee of EAES:

"We have to face it - a simple physical exam is just not enough anymore. Waiting hours/days for a simple abdominal U/S for suspected GB dis, or pleural tap, or scheduling a radiologist for intra-op U/S is inadequate anymore. We can be independent and provide better patient care. Look for the next EAES U/S course and register."
