Depending on the module followed, participants will be able to:
(Abdominal US Module)
- identify and evaluate the main abdominal organs: Liver, Gall Bladder, Pancreas, Spleen, Kidney, Digestive Tract, Abdominal Wall, Abdominal Vessels
- recognize pathological aspects
- identify immediate or distant postoperative complications
(eFAST Module)
- understand basic ultrasound semiology
- recognize free fluid in the peritoneal, pleural and pericardial cavities
- perform a complete and correct E-FAST exam
- define a clinical decision pathway for trauma patients
(Ultrasound Guided Procedures Module)
- select the proper biopsy tool for any ultrasound guided biopsy you want to perform
- handle the samples and biopsy tools correctly
- perform a correct biopsy of small and large tumor on liver and breast models
- recognize the ultrasound biopsy complications and to know how to handle these complications
(Intra Operative Ultrasound Modules)
- identify the intraoperative anatomy of the liver (including segmentation), biliary ways, pancreas
- assess the intraoperative of liver lesions
- perform intraoperative ultrasound guided needle procedures into the liver
